I have lived in Hancock County since 1995 and after watching it change through the years I am confident my experiences will help guide our county into a future we can all live in.
At 18, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and many of my life expectations changed quickly, I had to put off milestones in my young adult years most would take for granted. I am now proudly a 24 year survivor and an active Advocate Leader for Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. Healthcare is a big issue for me and I will listen.
I have been married for 25 years to my husband, Larry and we have a large fur baby family of 4 cats and 3 dogs. I worked as a nurse's aide to the elderly for 11 years until health complications caused me to retire early and have been volunteer advocate ever since. More
Hancock County should attract living wage, union jobs that provide better benefits. Long-term economic development will ensure a better future for all of us. Good jobs will keep Hancock strong.
Increasing funding to rehabilitative services, youth programs and education can help get to the cause of the increase in juvenile and drug related arrests we are incurring in Hancock County.
County Health & Human Services
Our land in Hancock is so very valuable we need to maintain it for present uses in such a manner which ensure future generations a rich inheritance. Maintaining ditches and clearing debris from grates can keep our lands and roads in good shape for all.
